David

Since joining Rio in 2014, David has worked on projects from concept to practical completion, demonstrating his commitment to architectural design and delivery

He has extensive experience leading the successful design delivery of large build-to-rent and student residential projects and Grade II listed refurbishments and remodelling projects in the education sector.

David has been a design critic and visiting tutor at Cardiff University since 2009 and has contributed to the New York College of Technology’s virtual studio culture. This combination of practice and pedagogy enables him to bring innovative design thinking to client projects. In the studio, he contributes to the work experience culture by writing project briefs and mentoring students.

For David, process driven design underpins the production of exceptional spaces, details, geometries, and overall building form.
