Consistent with our philosophy, we are very pleased to announce the following promotions within our talented studio:
David Whitter has been promoted to Senior Architect. David is leading our project for Unite Students in Leeds, where we are working closely with RG Group to deliver a major city centre project in a prominent location adjacent to the Leeds Indoor Arena. The project is a 976 bed student accommodation scheme, comprising two towers, one at twenty seven storeys and the other at seventeen storeys.

Kemal Gundogdu has been promoted to Senior Architectural Technologist. Kemal continues to be a key part of our delivery team, driving forward our BIM delivery processes whilst maintaining technical excellence in our output.

With the guidance and support from my colleagues, I've been able to take the right steps and focus on projects needed to learn the skills for the position. I am thrilled that I’m being promoted into the Senior role and I look forward to being able to share my knowledge and skills, create a valuable intangible asset in an official capacity."
Daryl Jones has been promoted to Senior Architectural Technologist. Daryl has played a leading technical role across a number of high profile local residential and educational projects, gaining excellent on site and tender delivery of technical packages experience along the way.
"Working at Rio I have gained a vast amount of experience whilst developing my skills working in different sectors both local to Cardiff and further afield. It is fantastic to be rewarded for my progress whilst working on high quality design led projects alongside a great team."
Lauren Clarke has been promoted to Senior Interior Designer. Lauren continues to play a leading role in our growing Rio's Interiors team, and was involved in the successful delivery of our award winning Bridge Street Exchange Project. She is pivotal in the continuous high quality of our interiors output, always leading by example.
"In my fourth year at Rio, I am delighted to have been promoted to Senior Interior Designer. 2019 has been a good year for Rio and I am looking forward to playing a part in helping realise Rio Interiors as a future market leader."
